Q&A: On Convenience During Your Stay

Q1. Are there buses to the facility?

A. There are a limited number of buses.

Q2. Do you have any gaming arcades on the premises?

A. There is no arcade in our facility.

Please enjoy ball games and badminton in the gym, table tennis in Budokan, and board games such as Shogi, Go, and Othello in the main hall.

Q3. Can I bring my pet to the facility?

A. Please refrain from using our facilities with pets.

Please contact us in advance if you are bringing a partner dog, such as a guide dog, hearing dog, or service dog.

Q4. Do you provide or sell pajamas?

A. Please bring your own. We provide no sleepwear.

Q5. Do you provide a hair dryer in the rooms?

A. There is no hair dryer provided in the rooms, but two hair dryers are available in each changing room. Please use those.

Please be careful, as using multiple hair dryers at one time in the dormitory may trip the circuit breaker.

Q6. Are there any convenience stores nearby?

A. There is no convenience store in the immediate vicinity. Please do your shopping and bring what you need before your arrival.

The nearest convenience store is located in downtown Biei, approximately 23 km from the Center.

Q7. Do you have any hospitals or clinics nearby?

A. Biei Municipal Hospital, Tel: 0166-68-7111, is the closest medical facility to the Center.

It is about 25 minutes away by car.

Q8.  Can I smoke in the facility?

A. Smoking is not permitted inside the facility in accordance with the Health Promotion Act and other regulations. We have implemented measures to prevent secondhand smoke.

Please use the designated smoking area outside the facility if necessary.

Q9. Can I do laundry in the facility?

A. Yes, you can. Washing machines and dryers are available free of charge: two each in accommodation buildings A to F and one each in the lounge building.

Laundry detergent is not sold in the facility. Please bring your own.

Q10. Do you have any place to keep my valuables?

A. Please use the coin-return lockers available for your belongings with a deposit of 100 yen.

Please note that our office does not provide storage services.

Q11. Can I exchange currency at the facility?

A. We do not provide money exchange services at the office or cafeteria. Please prepare the necessary funds before you check in.

Q12. Do you have an ATM on-site?

A. We have no ATM on the premises or in the surrounding area.

Q13. Do you accept credit cards?

A. Credit cards are not accepted. Payment options include cash, bank transfer, and convenience store payment.

Q14. Do you provide newspapers in the facility?

A. The Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper, written only in Japanese, is available in the Youthpia Hall.

Q15. Can I watch TV anywhere in the facility?

A. You can watch TV in the Youthpia Hall and the lobby in Building F.

Q16. Do you have a gift shop in the facility?

A. The gift shop is not available at this time.
